The Union Public Service Commission has declared the CAPF Result 2023 for the written test that was held on August 6, 2023. The result is available at the official website of the UPSC. The UPSC has released the CAPF Result 2023 to recruit people for 322 vacancies.
The CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) regularly invites applications for the opening of the Assistant Commandants (Group A) twice in a year. The recruitment drive seeks suitable candidates for the posts of Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) under the CAPF umbrella.

The UPSC has declared the CAPF Result 2023 in order to release the names of the candidates who have qualified for the Physical Efficiency Test. The UPSC CAPF Result is available at upsc.gov.in. Candidates should visit the website, download the PDF and check their performance.
The selected candidates will have to produce the original copies of their birth certificate, educational qualification, community etc.
UPSC CAPF Result 2023: What Next?
The shortlisted candidates will receive a call for Medical and Physical Tests. The candidates will have to submit their Detailed Application Form before the commencement of medical examination. Candidates can have an access to Online Detailed Application Form on the Commission’s website after the Exam Result is declared.
Important instructions related to DAF fill-up and online submission to the Commission, are clearly mentioned on the website. The medical examination will be held after PET day.
The process will take time to complete and patience is the key. There will be 3-4 doctors for candidates’ health check-up for different parts. X-ray will be done on the first day. It will be a challenge for heavy smokers to come clean. Candidates’ blood and urine samples are collected and examined for different parameters including Haemoglobin, Platelet Count and sugar.
Next, candidates will have a full body check-up. A medical professional will check the whole body to examine different body parts including major bones. Candidates with knock-knees and flat feet might face a problem.
After general body check-up, candidates will have to undergo eye check-up. There are some specific standards for those with hypermetropia and myopia. A provision of re-medical is also allowed. Candidates must not hide their medical history including if they ever went under the knife.

Pregnancy at the time of PET is considered a disqualification, resulting in outright rejection of pregnant female candidates.
Next, there will be a final medical check-up to examine your blood pressure, pulse rate etc. Candidates’ dental points and limbs will also be examined. Candidates may have to walk on their toes. They will be asked for a basic body warm-up like push-ups or sit-ups before doctors check their blood pressure and pulse rate.
The medical procedure for an individual candidate will not take long but you have to wait till the examination of the last candidate is done. Candidates, who will pass the medical examination, will get a clearance certificate. You must practice rigorously to get ready for the actual PET Test.

The Interview/Personality Test will have 100 Marks. Shortlisted candidates will receive a Detailed Application Form or DAF for Interview/Personality Test, wherein they will be asked to indicate their choice of Forces.
