The actress took to the social media earlier this year to announce the upcoming streaming of Aarya Season 3. However, due to her illness, the filming for the web series has been complete only in recent times. In an interview with India Today about Aarya Season 3, Susmita told, “It’s a new day for Aarya Sareen, and she’s ready for it. In Season 3, she is going places and writing her own story, free of her past. Replacing Aarya is like slipping into old jeans for a brand-new adventure.”
With Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi at the helm, Aarya is a Hindi remake of Penoz, a popular Dutch crime drama revolving around the struggle of a middle-aged woman to save her family against all odds.
