In her union budget for the financial year 2023-24, India’s finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced the launch of Stack e Portal. This portal will help to develop a digital ecosystem for livelihood and skilling. In addition, upskilling and reskilling will also be done through this portal. This portal will provide API-supported discovery layers and trusted skill credentials to find relevant entrepreneur opportunities and jobs.
Realigning national skill qualification framework in keeping with dynamic industry needs will be performed. Employability will receive a significant boost with the help of skilling partnership and program with the industry.
The GOI has also initiated a range of skill development courses in a few institutes, which provide industrial training, across all the states with a view to boost the portal initiative.
