Khelo India Youth Games was started in the year 2018 by the Sports Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Singh to revive the sports culture, this program is organized every year in the month of January.
School and college children of India can participate in this program. About Khelo India Youth Game 2023
The first edition of Khelo India Youth Games was held on 31 January 2018 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi and the second was held in Pune, Maharashtra from 9 January to 20 January 2019 and the third Khelo India Youth Games from 18 January to 30 January 2020 Will be held in Guwahati till .This time the Games will be organized in partnership with the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), Olympic Association (IOA) and Assam as the host state. The fourth edition of the event will be held in the year 2021. These Games will be held in Panchkula after next year’s Tokyo Olympics. Haryana will host the fourth season of ‘Khelo India’ Youth Games.
Khelo India program has been launched by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to promote sports and games development in India. The central government aims to start this Khelo India Youth Game to enhance the skills of school and college children and help in developing the spirit of sports teams. Sports development is very important for the overall development of the nation. The aim of Khelo India Youth Game 2023 is to give a chance to the children who are interested in sports to make sports their career in the world.
