Redmi 13C 5G debuts in India:  A premium design with affordable price tags

Xiaomi has launched 13C mobile in India. The 5G model sports a premium design and comes under Rs 12, 000.

Saying it is a budget smartphone won’t be an exaggeration. The first thing that catches eyes is its premium design. The device features a 90Hz display, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera, a 5, 000mAh battery and many more. Redmi 13C will take on other 5G phones such as Samsung Galaxy M14 and Lava Blaze Pro 5G.

Redmi 13C: Price Revealed

Xiaomi has announced the arrival of the Redmi 13C 5G in India. The base model with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage comes at Rs 10, 999 whereas the variant with 6GB + 128GB combo is available at Rs 12, 499.  Get ready to shell out Rs 14,499 for the premium version that boasts of 8GB + 256GB storage.

The 13C smartphone is available in three exciting colours – Starlight Black, Startrail Green and Startrail Silver. The smartphone will be available for purchase from next week. The sale date is slated to be December 16 via the MI online store, Amazon and other virtual retail shops.

Redmi 13C: Key Features

The Redmi 13C has a slew of great features including a 6.74-inch LCD display coupled with 600nits of optimum brightness and a 90Hz touch sampling rate. The panel flaunts a catchy teardrop notch on its front. A Gorilla Glass 3 coating prevents the screen from smudges and scratches. The panel functions at HD resolution.

The smartphone draws power from a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor. The same chipset empowers the Realme 11 5G and Realme 11x. The model offers an option of RAM extension up to 16GB, using the smartphone’s built-in storage space. The Redmi 13C runs on the older version of Android 13 operating system.

The latest Redmi model features a dual rear camera setup having a 50-megapixel primary camera. The smartphone packs a 5, 000mAh battery. Redmi 13C gives support for an 18W fast charge. However, the phone comes packed with only a 10W charger. Xiaomi is yet to issue an official IP rating for its latest launch. However, the brand confirms that the model is dust-protected and splash-resistant.

The device provides support for Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and many more.
