For passengers travelling from Canada to Europe, the now-defunct Canadian low-cost airline Zoom Airlines briefly had an office in Paris. Located in the centre of the city, Zoom Airlines Paris Office provided a number of services to its clients, including ticket buying, answering questions, and resolving any problems pertaining to their trips. Zoom Airlines was a low-cost airline that concentrated on offering reasonably priced transatlantic flights from Canada to major European cities, such as Paris. However, Zoom Airlines was grounded by Canadian aviation authorities after ceasing operations in 2008 owing to financial concerns. The Paris office functioned as a point of contact for travellers in need of help with airline cancellations, changes, or other travel-related issues during its years of existence. Many clients were left behind when the airline collapsed.
