How to Apply for NEET PG 2023 Counselling?

The NEET PG counselling process is administered by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and plays a pivotal role in securing admission to postgraduate medical programs across India. It involves several crucial steps:

  • Step 1: Registration

Candidates seeking admission through NEET PG 2023 must first register on the MCC website. This entails providing personal and academic information, uploading necessary documents, and paying the requisite registration fees.

Following registration, candidates are tasked with the critical step of selecting their preferred courses and colleges from a provided list. Importantly, these choices can be modified or removed before the final submission.

  • Step 3: Seat Allotment

MCC employs a systematic seat allotment process that considers factors such as a candidate’s NEET PG rank, their chosen preferences, and the availability of seats. This step ultimately determines the allocation of seats to candidates.

  • Step 4: Seat Acceptance

Upon receiving their final seat allocation, candidates are presented with the option to either accept the allotted seat or opt for an upgrade during subsequent counselling rounds.

  • Step 5: Reporting to the Designated College

Candidates who accept their allocated seats must adhere to a specific timeframe to report to the designated college. During this stage, they are required to present the necessary documentation to complete the formalities of admission.

By following these steps diligently, candidates can navigate the 3rd Round for  NEET PG counselling process successfully and secure admission to their desired postgraduate medical programs.
